Wash your Faja preferably by hand. When doing so, use a neutral detergent. Do not use fabric softener to preserve the action of the fabric the Fajas are made of!
If you choose to machine wash the Faja, please do so separately and only at 30 degrees Celsius. Do not use fabric softener to preserve the effect of the fabric!
The Faja should never be put in the dryer or ironed to preserve the function of the fabric!
After washing, let the Faja dry on a drying rack or hang it on a clothes hanger to dry.
The secret to good Faja care
Keep Always keep the packaging of a Melibelt Faja.
After your Faja is washed and dried, put (once or twice a week) the Faja in the Melibelt container provided, seal it and place it in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
This ensures that the fibers of the Powernet fabric that the Faja is made of remain in good condition and you maintain the high compression.
In addition by doing so, you reactivate the microcapsules of aloe vera incorporated into the fabric of the Melibelt Fajas.
Should you have purchased another brand of Faja, you can place the Faja in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer. This will also keep the fibers longer and preserve the high compression of the Faja.
